Need community service hours?
You may choose Welcome House, Inc. to complete your community service hours for either probation, graduation or other requirements. Community service hours are completed Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. Interested in volunteering?
You are invited to visit us at our corporate or outreach offices. At the office, you will learn more about the agency, a variety of volunteer opportunities, as well as any additional training needed. Marketing Intern
An intern is needed to contact businesses to promote our services; develop and implement promotional events and activities; create various marketing ideas and a marketing plan to promote the Center Establishing Media Contacts; assist in publicizing fundraising and promotional events; network with corporations and foundations to learn more about their funding programs; research grant proposals to foundations, corporations and government entities. Landscape This!
Volunteers are needed to help maintain the landscape of our properties. Duties may include planting flowers, pulling weeds, picking up trash and mowing the lawn. Planting flowers and yard improvements help give our clients a real sense of “home.” You may contact our outreach office at 214-421-3948 for further information.
Maintenance
Volunteers are needed to help with other general building maintenance projects such as cleaning the exterior and interior windows, facility improvements and other repairs. Lend us a hand by helping us preserve our facilities to avoid deterioration.
Adopt a bed
A great way for corporate sponsors to remain involved throughout the year is to adopt or sponsor one of the existing programs at Welcome House, Inc. Help provide an indigent client with the opportunity to recover. Call our corporate office at 214-887-0696 for more information.
