Our Founder’s Message

Mr. JohnsonWelcome House, Inc. is a substance abuse facility dedicated to providing high quality recovery support services while educating and encouraging individuals to live a clean and sober lifestyle. Under my leadership, I currently offer two programs which are “Project Extended Arms” and “Operation Renew.” The “Project Extended Arms” program assists the HIV/AIDS population with substance abuse issues, and the “Operation Renew” program offers substance abuse treatment and a prison re-entry program. Our mission is to develop and sustain healthy communities and promote the development of independence from life challenges of homelessness, substance abuse, mental illness and criminal behavior. The organization is a fixture in the community and strategically located where we can meet the needs of those who may need our services.

With the help of my staff, our goal is to educate, empower, and equip individuals who are impacted by the disease of multiple addictions. We continue to assist people suffering from a multitude of addictions and those considered to be useless in society with helping them to look up (agency’s logo) to have vibrant, quality and responsible lives while making wise decisions and healthy choices. Our auxiliary services consist of effective comprehensive case management, transitional housing, prison re-entry program and substance abuse treatment designed to meet the immediate and long term needs of our clients.
